baking style diary Confession: It’s true, I just can’t stop baking with chocolate (of any kind). Even after writing a comprehensive book on using chocolate in the baking process. Still, I’m drawn to the flavor–and think it’s great fun to continue to use (and applaud!) an American staple, chocolate chips. As an ode to these, the chocolate chips of my childhood, I’ve been baking all kinds of crispy, crispy-crunchy, crispy-tender, and ultra-crunchy rusks and dipping cookies.
